A CLOSER LOOK
Where it fits in your routine
Flick is intended for redistributing grounds in an espresso basket before tamping. Its retracting mechanism changes how the needles are stored between uses. The listing also includes replacement needles and an Allen key, which are useful details to check when comparing tool packages.
A WDT tool does not replace grinder adjustment, dosing or a tamper. Needle depth and technique need to suit the basket and preparation method. We have not tested extraction or measured channeling, so this page makes no promise of a particular result in the cup.
The useful distinction is the storage mechanism, not a guaranteed improvement in flavor. If you already use a distribution tool, compare how it fits into your routine and where you can keep it safely after use. A retractable format still requires careful handling, and replacement parts need to be suitable for this exact tool rather than merely looking similar.
Our original illustration shows one tool with its needles retracted. Multiple views in a source photograph are not a multi-unit pack, and the closed illustration does not show every listed accessory. Before buying, confirm the selected version and included parts. Keep the manufacturer’s guidance for operating the mechanism, replacing needles and storing the tool available.
