Where it fits in your routine
Weighing ingredients can make it easier to repeat a brewing recipe. This Greater Goods listing combines a coffee scale with a timer, so the two readings can be kept in one place on the counter. The listed 0.1 g increment describes the display resolution; it is not a laboratory accuracy claim.
For espresso, compare the scale footprint with the machine’s drip tray and the height left beneath the spouts. For pour-over, check the weight of the filled brewer as well as the water itself. We have not tested response time or water resistance, so neither is used as a performance promise.
Think about the vessels you will place on it. A dosing cup, a mug and a filled glass carafe occupy different amounts of space and add their own weight to the load. A scale with a useful display can still be awkward if the brewer hides the timer or rests partly off the platform. Check those details against your own equipment.
For a first coffee station, this combines two separate measuring tasks without claiming to automate the recipe. Keep the weighing surface level and follow the maker’s care and calibration guidance. The original illustration shows only the empty scale; the bowl and beans used in the source photograph are not represented as included equipment.
