A CLOSER LOOK
Where it fits in your routine
This Ymiueip measuring pitcher is listed at six fluid ounces and combines a ribbed glass body with a short wooden side handle. Its pouring lip and ounce-and-milliliter markings make it an option for collecting or transferring a small drink. Our illustration shows the glass empty so that its shape is visible; the measurement marks are simplified and should not be used to infer a calibrated scale.
Check the distance from your espresso machine’s spouts to the drip tray, including any scale you intend to put beneath the vessel. A cup can have adequate volume and still be too tall or awkwardly positioned for a particular machine. The projecting handle also needs lateral space. The selected source describes one measuring vessel, and our presentation does not imply a pair or an included coffee machine.
The seller describes borosilicate glass and heat-resistant handling. We have not tested temperature limits, thermal shock resistance, the strength of the handle joint or measurement accuracy. Treat the glass as breakable, inspect it for damage, and follow its care instructions. Avoid interpreting a comfortable handle as evidence that every surface stays cool with hot liquid inside.
For espresso recipes based on yield, a separate scale is generally more useful than relying only on volume marks, especially when crema changes the apparent volume. This pitcher is not a weighing device, heater or powered frother. Leave sufficient headroom for the intended task, and do not treat its full capacity as a safe milk-steaming fill line. Confirm cleaning restrictions for the wooden handle before washing.
