A CLOSER LOOK
Where it fits in your routine
These Melitta natural-brown paper filters are a consumable for a brewer that calls for the selected number 2 cone format. Choosing a refill by its number is a useful starting point, but the brewer’s own instructions and the filter’s shape still matter. Do not assume that every dripper described as a size two uses the same cone angle, seam or opening. Keep track of the exact pack count on Amazon, because a close-up of one paper filter does not show the complete retail package. This is a refill choice, not a brewing device or a permanent metal filter.
Number 2 alone does not prove fit across all cone systems. Compare the brewer manual, filter seam and basket shape.
Build the rest of the setup around the brewing method rather than the number of accessories in a photograph. You need a stable work surface, suitable water and a way to measure the coffee and brewing water if your recipe depends on a ratio. Check filter shape, safe handling and the actual capacity of the receiving cup or carafe. A serving-size label can use a different cup convention from the mug you own. Follow the maker’s cleaning and heat guidance, especially for glass, collapsible parts or a powered base. We have not brewed with this product or measured its effect on taste.
