A CLOSER LOOK
Where it fits in your routine
The Hario V60 Buono is a stovetop gooseneck kettle rather than an electric temperature-control kettle. Its narrow spout gives it a different pouring role from a broad-spout household tea kettle, making it relevant to manual pour-over recipes. You still control the heating source and check temperature with an appropriate method. Compare the selected model with your hob, the number of cups you prepare and the amount of room you need to lift it safely. A vessel’s nominal capacity does not establish how high it can be filled while heating; use the maker’s working-fill guidance.
Confirm compatibility with your hob and follow the stated usable fill level. The advertised total capacity is not necessarily the safe working fill.
Build the rest of the setup around the brewing method rather than the number of accessories in a photograph. You need a stable work surface, suitable water and a way to measure the coffee and brewing water if your recipe depends on a ratio. Check filter shape, safe handling and the actual capacity of the receiving cup or carafe. A serving-size label can use a different cup convention from the mug you own. Follow the maker’s cleaning and heat guidance, especially for glass, collapsible parts or a powered base. We have not brewed with this product or measured its effect on taste.
