A CLOSER LOOK
Where it fits in your routine
MiiCoffee’s digital frothing thermometer is intended to monitor milk while a separate machine supplies steam. Its clip and audible target alert can be useful when the pitcher angle makes a dial less convenient to watch. The listed presets are not universal recommendations for every drink or milk type; choose a target using appropriate brewing guidance and the manufacturer’s operating instructions. The protective sleeve is described as water resistant, which should not be expanded into a claim that the display is safe to submerge. Consider how the probe, clip and screen will fit around your steam wand before choosing it.
Water resistance does not mean the display can be immersed. Follow the minimum probe depth and cleaning instructions for the selected version.
Choose around the drink you actually prepare and the space available beside the coffee brewer. Milk needs room to expand, so a vessel’s total volume is not a safe frothing fill by default. Dairy and plant-based products can behave differently, and the appropriate technique or program remains part of the recipe. Follow the cleaning instructions immediately after use and keep powered parts away from water as directed. Compare a separate electric appliance with the simpler pitcher-and-steam-wand workflow before adding another item to the counter. We have not tested foam texture, heating speed, temperature precision or long-term durability for this product.
