A CLOSER LOOK
Where it fits in your routine
The CDN ProAccurate IRT220-F is a separate analog thermometer for a suitable frothing pitcher. An adjustable clip helps hold the probe while you work, and the dial gives a reading without depending on an electronic screen. This is a measuring accessory; it does not control the steam source or guarantee a particular foam texture. Check that the probe can reach the intended milk depth without contacting the vessel in a way that distorts the reading. The included recalibration provision is worth reviewing in the instructions, especially if you need to check the instrument after storage or a knock.
Position the probe as instructed without resting its tip against the hot jug. Check stem length, dial clearance and the selected Fahrenheit scale.
Choose around the drink you actually prepare and the space available beside the coffee brewer. Milk needs room to expand, so a vessel’s total volume is not a safe frothing fill by default. Dairy and plant-based products can behave differently, and the appropriate technique or program remains part of the recipe. Follow the cleaning instructions immediately after use and keep powered parts away from water as directed. Compare a separate electric appliance with the simpler pitcher-and-steam-wand workflow before adding another item to the counter. We have not tested foam texture, heating speed, temperature precision or long-term durability for this product.
