Check the fit before buying espresso accessories

Start with the exact model name of your espresso machine and the basket you actually use. Machines in the same family can have different parts, and a replacement basket can change what fits. Keep the manufacturer’s model reference nearby when comparing accessories.

A shared diameter is not the whole answer

A tamper needs to suit the basket’s internal diameter and shape. A dosing funnel must attach without obstructing the grinder or group head. A portafilter also depends on its lugs, their position and the machine interface. Two products labeled 54 mm are not automatically compatible.

Measure the working space

Check drip-tray width, available height below the spouts and the size of your cup. Include the thickness of a scale when measuring. For a tamping mat, compare the counter edge and the place where you support the portafilter.

Compare the exact listing variant

Confirm the selected size and box contents on Amazon before ordering. Photos can show multiple variants or accessories that are sold separately. If the seller and manufacturer disagree, seek clarification rather than choosing whichever measurement is more convenient.
