Keep a coffee corner easier to maintain
A useful coffee corner gives each tool a place and leaves enough free surface for the brewing process. Start by measuring the machine and the space needed to fill, open and clean it. Accessories should make those tasks easier rather than crowding them.
Use mats where they fit
A corner tamping mat and a large drying mat serve different jobs. Compare dimensions and counter-edge shape. Never cover an appliance’s ventilation openings or put a mat on a hot plate unless the relevant manufacturer explicitly permits it.
Store a sensible working quantity
A storage canister should fit both your coffee use and the available shelf space. Weight labels for whole beans are approximate because beans vary. Keep containers clean and dry, and follow the lid and material care instructions.
Avoid misleading bundles
A caddy pictured with cups and packets may be sold empty. A dosing cup pictured next to a spoon may exclude the spoon. Read the exact contents before purchasing, and keep cleaning products matched to the surfaces and appliances they are intended for.
